Sa. 18.7.2020: Long gone, unnoticed, but still there: seeking traces in Saxon Switzerland

Do you fancy a search for clues in Saxon Switzerland? On a little hike we want to illuminate a part of German and Saxon history. The trip will lead us through one of the loveliest countrysides of Germany. But we will also see sites, whose cruel national-socialist past hardly anyone remembers. However, we will also hear stories of resistance, which give us the courage to shape the future. Looking for traces, we will uncover these stories, as well as our own, personal stories. What is the history of these places, what is our story? What connects the past to our present?

The event is for free. We also provide free food and drinks. If you arrive on your own by bus or train, we can bear the expenses for your transportation costs. For that, we need your ticket.

If anyone hates us because of our history, then he or she doesn’t know us. We share our experiences and raise our voice. The workshop gives us courage and ideas.
